Agreement

  • These terms and conditions (“SeLa T&Cs”) apply to your use of SeLa Medical & Holistic Spa located at 33200 Woodward Ave, Birmingham MI and website (site) located at www.selamedspa.com.

  • By entering SeLa, purchasing any product, making a booking or accessing or using our site, you agree to these SeLa T&Cs. If you do not agree with the SeLa T&Cs, please do not attend SeLa or browse or use the site.

  • We reserve all rights to alter the SeLa T&Cs at our discretion. Each time you enter SeLa or access our site, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of our current SeLa T&Cs as published on our site. Your continued use of SeLa or site following the publication of changes to these SeLa T&Cs is taken to be your acceptance of those changes.

  • The SeLa T&Cs, as amended by us from time to time, continue to apply for as long as you use SeLa and/or the site or until terminated in accordance with the terms.

Sela Rules

  • Bookings for SeLa must be made in accordance with our bookings policies.

  • We may, for any reason, at any time and without notice to you change or remove SeLa treatments, including by changing or removing treatments or closing SeLa for periods.

  • We may alter SeLa opening hours from time-to-time, at our discretion. This includes closure of SeLa for capacity considerations, private events and maintenance requirements.

  • You must follow all instructions given to you by SeLa Therapists during your treatment and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.

  • We will communicate with guests via text message and email. It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct contact details are provided and that the nominated details are up-to-date for correspondence.

  • Guests are to be respectful towards other guests, our staff, and outside providers.

  • It is your responsibility to let us know if you have any medical or physical conditions that may affect your safety at SeLa.

  • Please arrive five minutes early to your appointment.

  • Appointment latecomers will lose time from their treatment or will be required to pay the full treatment amount if the appointment is not able to be completed in the remaining appointment time allocated.

  • SeLa will not accept any form of verbal or physical intimidation, harassment, or discrimination.

  • We kindly request that you notify us at the time of booking should you require child minding or if you will be bringing your child to your appointment. We have childcare available for the duration of your treatment should you require the service.

  • Please keep phone usage in the spa common areas as well as during your appointment minimal so all guests can have the opportunity to relax.

Pricing & Payments

Unless otherwise provided in these terms:

  • SeLa’s prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Promotions are only available at the advertised price during the promotional period. Unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable.

  • SeLa does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on our services or retail products purchased (unless defected and at the discretion of management).

  • SeLa reserves the right to pass on to you the cost of any additional bank fees which may incur from disputed or failed transactions regarding a guests account.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • SeLa utilises ‘card capturing software’ to charge deposit fees. This requires you to enter a valid credit/debit card upon booking. SeLa’s deposits are non-refundable if you fail to adhere to our booking policy.

    - SeLa requires a 50% deposit for any treatment under 90mins OR Full upfront payment as a deposit for any appointment 90 minutes or over, including all spa packages.
    - If you cancel/change within 24hrs or no show to an appointment that will result in total appointment amount being required to be paid.
    -Pre-paid packages/gift vouchers to equal total appointment amount will be forfeited if you cancel/change within 24hrs or no show to an appointment.
    - If you cancel/change within 6hrs this will result in $100 of the deposit being deducted & any remaining pre-payment will be rolled over for a future appointment.
    - If you provide us the necessary 48 hours notice, we can either roll your deposit for a future treatment or provide you with a refund.

  • Appointment cancellations can only be made via a phone call to the SeLa phone number during office hours (Monday to Saturday 10am-6pm), via email at contact.selamedspa.com during office hours, or by utilising the appointment email/timely link you were sent at the appointment booking time (noting this is only available outside of the 48-hour cut-off). SeLa does not accept cancellations from our automated SMS ‘do not reply’ system, text message, or social media messages.

  • Any complimentary 30 minute consultations will not attract a cancellation fee or require a deposit, but still require card details to be entered.

  • If you have COVID-19 and notification of cancellation is received with at least 24 hours notice, your deposit will be rolled over for future treatments or refunded.

Complimentary 30 minute Appointments Policy

  • Strictly one appointment per person. Latecomers or no-shows will miss their booked appointment and will not be permitted to book another complimentary assessment.

  • Please respect the 30-minute complimentary time slot.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers can be used for all SeLa services and retail products.

  • Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue

  • We do not permit refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on gift vouchers for any reason.

  • All gift voucher purchases are final

  • Lavada accepts no responsibility if a gift voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission.

Refunds

  • SeLa does not offer refunds or credits on pre-purchased packages, treatments, gift vouchers, or custom crafted retail products (unless retail products are faulty). All such purchases are final.

Breaches of Our Terms & Conditions

  • Without prejudice to SeLa’s other rights under these Terms, if you breach these Terms in any way, SeLa may take such action as we deem appropriate to deal with the breach. This action may include declining your access to SeLa Medical & Holistic Spa and our website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • You acknowledge that SeLa is the owner of all intellectual property rights in the site including the SeLA logo and all material published on the site, and we retain all rights, title and interest in the site and material (including intellectual property rights contained therein) irrespective of any licence we may grant to you to access and use the site.

  • You may access and use the site (including intellectual property rights contained therein) for your personal and non-commercial use only. You must not in any form or by any means reproduce, modify, distribute, store, transmit, publish, use or display the material on another website or create derivative works from any part of the site or the material or commercialise any information obtained from any part of the site or material without our prior written consent.

  • By uploading, posting, transmitting or otherwise making available any content or material via the site (“Your Content”), you:

  • a) grant to us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and sub-licensable licence to use, publish, reproduce and otherwise exploit Your Content in any form for any purpose and unconditionally waive any moral rights that you might have in respect of Your Content; and

  • b) represent and warrant that you either own the intellectual property rights in Your Content or have the necessary permission to upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available Your Content via the site.

  • You agree that you will not modify or copy the layout or appearance of our logo or our site nor any computer software or code contained in the site, and that you will not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover, interfere with or access any source code related to the site.
